The D Word of Discipline in the Quants Industry

i want to go in a slightly different direction with u mic because back when i started in this industry in the 80s there was a d word that when that came up people were really frightened. There's another d word it's discretion and i wanted to ask you based on the fact that you've obviously been in the industry for a long time but you've also covered a lot of different roles in the on the manager side. We had someone write in to us as we were releasing the first episodes of this series asking whether we could bring up the use or not use of discretion so maybe i can just throw it out there to you and and ask you you know how much discretion is too much
