Isn't That Something to Worry About?
The weakness of some of the softer sections of the party is a real risk, says Charles Red. But i don't think for a minute that if you had seen some trump figure on the left within the democratic party, that the rank and file democrats would have stood up to him,. It's different, of course, but they don't stand up to anyone. You see it with biden. Now you see the perverse site of members of congress, legislators, the people that james madison thought would be in charge - begging the president to do those things only the legislature can do.
