Are We Heading Straight Into Feudalism?

The top 1% of households in the United States held 32.3% of the country's wealth just over a year ago, according to Federal Reserve figures. Top 1% owns about a third of the country’s wealth; bottom 50% of the population owns just 2.6%. The defined wealth of the richest 400 Americans now exceeds the total wealth of 185 million of their fellow citizens. We've seen the wealth gap widen more and more as part of that trend, we're seeing a disappearance of the middle class.
