How to Love People, You Know?

I think everybody goes through the door because scripture says that either they go through the door in one way or another. But I think what's encouraging to me about the story is those people cowering in the darkness, they're me. We've all covered in the darkness afraid to look up at God and trust him. And so when the Bible talks about the outer darkness and Hades, I go, it's something that we're all familiar with because we're already trapped there. And Jesus is the door, it's the moment that I look up and trust the Father and surrender to his judgment that I would be made in his image that I went through the door. In other words,
