Is the Future the Future?
Senior leadership strongly believes that the future is the future. But they are absolutely unwilling to make changes in order to improve their organizations. They're terrified of getting consensus from everyone in the org and trying to get it done. This approach has been seen at many companies I've worked for, including my former employer Google.
