The Tension Between the Stakes of the Issues We Face as a Country
I came up through politics fighting against a very significant figure in New Jersey politics. It was a mayor named Sharp James and do it torch me in public. So I don't want to become what I'm in the Senate race in my mayor's race. We lose a bit of our moral compass when we are demonizing other people. The criminal justice system too often is about retribution than about justice.
