The Relationship Between Openness and Mentorship

Those who are outgoing, rewarded by social cues, warm, caring of others would be inclined to mentor from a friendship perspective. Did Neuroticism play a part here at all? Neuroticism didn't. But maybe in the background, it still seems that probably being more emotionally stable is a useful trait if you're looking for athletes who would be more willing to mentor their teammates. The next finding is that athletes who were more open, so that the openness trait, perhaps more creative looking for different things to stimulate them.
