Is There a Driving Force to Evolve Modularity?
In your work, you make an argument that there is a kind of driving force to evolve the ability to adapt quickly through evolution. So why is modularity so pervasive in nature, but it never shows up when we're using evolutionary algorithms to design brains and bodies? I was actually reading a book written by a guy named George Strider at UC Irvine told the end of my PhD and I almost, I finished the book. It was a great book. We will make sure to have links and maybe embeds and all that.
