The Great Indian Hedge

Allan hume was a british civil servant, political reformer, ornithologist and botanist. He founded the indian national congress in 18 85. And he was the master mind behind building the two thousand, 500 mile long inland customs line. It is estimated that several million indians died as a consequence of this hedge because they were not able to acquire salt.
