A lot of Boyd's research was built upon early complex adaptive systems thinking. The Marines for a long time were a member of the, of what came before our applied complexity network. And we also heard after the fact that it was perhaps some of this self-organizing make decisions closer to the ground approach that resulted in the second Iraq War.
