Is There a Need for Fibre?

The general recommendation is usually about 14 grams of fibre per thousand calories in the diet. When i coach people, u, i generally say, haylett, let's aim for somewhere in the 25 to 50 gram a day range and titrate it from there. The way we titrate it is based on, ok, ifo feeling really bloated and gasy all the time, we're probably a little higher than you ought to be. And where where we have a low frequency of bowel movements, sometimes increasing fibre can alleviate those symptoms.
