William Palmer was found guilty of poisoning eight people in 1856. His last words were, "I am innocent of poisoning cook, dot, dot,. dot, dot, by Stricknine" The jury agreed and they found him guilty on June 14th, 1856. 300,000 people showed up to watch him be executed.
