Evelyn can't tell her dad 'f*** you' because that's not in her wiring. And she doesn't want that to be in her wiring too, which I think is part of witnessing that version of like intergenerational but feels so sad too. You'll always want your parents approval, and what a beautiful thing is it is that children want so much that from their parents. It's genuinely sad with like the gongong situation where, you know, she's putting so much into him energetically, emotionally, and he cannot see it.
