privileged account management is simply the management of accounts that provide someone with elevated access within a system. There are systems out there that are designed like a password vault specifically for these privileged accounts. Am so the privileged account systems will also allow for users to use a privileged account without having to know the password, and having the password automatically changed after every instance of use.
