Factory SQL: A Bi-Directional Data Bridge
When Colby came in, he wrote Factory SQL, which was to take data from OPC and put it into a database. He drew up his vision of what that product looked like on a piece of paper,. We call it like our napkin drawing, right? And then there was inductive automation when Calmetrics officially formed in terms of the DBA of enterprises and businesses. Steve wanted to provide better solutions to his customers and said we can do this with factory PMI. It's really cool how that story goes; I just want to give you an inside look at ignition today.
