Young: I have found the last nine months very disillusioning in many ways. The disconnect between markets and economic reality has been disturbing, he says. But there's something about the resolution of this year that makes him feel more optimistic than where we were just six months ago. Young: For somebody like myself who kind of really believes in markets and believes in fi cal markets, i have found these last couple of months tough to stomach, in an odd way.
