i'm a survey methodologist, so i'm really interested in can we accurately measure what people think im and ritd. Some of the research t that i've done has found out that it's actually really difficult to even measure the extent of really crazy beliefs in the american public. People aren't as crazy as the headlines make us. They're also not as stupid as the headlines made us think. There are a set of incentives, a, by the holsters, by the media,. To focus on those things that exaggerate differences which makes for provocative headlines.
