Director Letita simon was removed by bart staff from her seat on the board of directors last month. The move sparked outrage and calls for Bart to hire outside legal help, which it did this week. Board president Rebecca saltsman issued a strong apology after director Simon's reinstatement. "We're continuing to work with outside legal councel through the next steps," she said.
