The Problem With APL's Code Defense
You can't just run the APL code directly through one of these compilers, right? There's I guess APL tail is the closest to doing that, but they've all got restrictions, including code defense. And in my view, the performance of the language is not important enough for most people to justify doing that. They say, well, I'll use the easiest APL, the one that works most nicely. And I won't worry about performance that other approaches might have.
