Secondary Prophylaxis for Vericile Gi Bleeds
Secondary prophylaxis for these patients is super important once they've bled. You have to band the verisees until they're eradicated. And then similarly, you just have to keep a close eye on them. We mention tips. Tips is an option in the acute setting if endoscopically you cannot achieve hemostasis. But it also can be sidered more on an elective basis for all patients who continue to have vericeal bleeds that cannot be controlled andoscopically and prevented.
