Cuba and the USSR - The Cuban Question

In 1962, John Kennedy was increasingly being presented with the option of using US military power against Havana. Khrushchev called for an immediate reassessment of Cuban security and sent remainder of defense weaponry. The USSR would also excuse all Cuban debt and send over experts on irrigation and land reform. In late February in a memo that remains partially redacted to this day, Lansdale outlines the phases of mongers, which quote, aims for a revolt that can take place in Cuba by October 1962.
