The Three Circles Model of Anxiety and Stress
Think about your red circle on the bottom and top left is that blue circle of drive, getting things done, achieving ma, meeting goals. But instead of pinging from the red to the blue, what we always say to people is, get to the green first. Activate that green circle, the soothing system. Then you get from there to blue. Your drive circle is now you're nearing your goals and you're achieving. And all is now bringing in all the parts of your brain that help with better decision making. Do i actually need that ten yearo tea shirt, or am i better off paying 70 yours in a shop which pays its staff properly?
