The Future of VR
The mantle of VR kind of gets picked up by an odd collection of companies, primarily toy companies. Nintendo licenses this heads up display from a little Massachusetts company and turns it into this thing called the Virtual Boy. Hasbro hires a bunch of ex-military people who came out of the simulations world to build these VR deck that basically never ships but they try it in the 1990s. That's basically where a lot of the interesting consumer VR moved after the death of VPL or some of these toy company projects is into the arcade.
