How to Reconstruct the Ending of Mark's Gospel

I think it seems to be a way of saying they didn't sort of saunter back into town and everybody they met, so guess what we just seen. There was a sort of... Until they got back to the house. Clearly something about the appearing of Jesus, the promise that they'll see him in Galilee being repeated or whatever. But part of the point of the resurrection stories is that they carry this feeling that a new world has just begun. We're not sure we're ready for it. What are we going to do now?
