ben couldn't imagine how the second com could require full evangelization, unless god really does know future contingents. He thought that the second coming, since it depends on the presumably free human actions of evangelization, must be a future contingent. Yet, jesus implies that god knows its day and hour. And if this event really is dependent on a precisely defined complete evangelization, then i guess god must have ordained that too, right? So maybe all evangelization is free. I don't know.
