People have complained to me about their boss all their lives, all my life. They say, I would ask you the question, why are you creating a boss like this? What are you doing? It's helping to create the very thing you complain most deeply about. You need a trusting relationship to ask that question. But if I really think my boss is low trust, doesn't see the world like I do, I've got to stop talking about the person that way because I do have to live with them and they are my boss. And somehow acknowledging that when we have strong negative reactions to other people, it's our projection as well.

When you’re vulnerable, all you’re doing is acknowledging what the world already knows. As soon as people start complaining, they’ve chosen helplessness. When we have strong negative reactions to people, it’s our projection.
