The Victorians' Disrespect for Pornography

The Victorian attitude toward those texts was sort of like disrespectful in the sense that they didn't attribute it to the previous century. The most significant change that I tracked is that often so those discursive parts of 18th century novels where women lament sex or theorize about it or have feminist discoveries you know around sex. Those passages are like minimized and or taken out entirely with a scalpel. And again, there are a number of good texts that I didn't know about that you introduced, like Lost Bull Turk or Letters from Laura.
