The EPA's Limit to Power Plant Pollution

The EPA has recently announced a landmark limit to power plant pollution. Electric power plants currently produce one quarter of US greenhouse gas emissions. The rules are almost certain to face significant legal challenges. But even with those extra costs, the EPA estimates that limiting pollution from smoke stats would produce an economic benefit up to $85 billion by 2042.
