Is There a Way to Deploy an Insurance Cooperative?
Opelis has created a for-profit cooperative structure that still has incentives around growth, value accrual, and traditional capitalistic endeavors. But it doesn't have at its core the same hardcore drivers around profit maximization as you would see in a traditional web2 corporate model. It's also not what I would call a full nonprofit public good either, right? Which I have sustainability questions around because when you talk about this, the question of how to fund public goods are good.
