The Motivation for Denying the Existence of Laws Is the Old Mistake of Empiricism
All knowledge is conjectural, all observations are theory laden. There is nothing that is an authoritative source of knowledge. Everything is conjecture. And so once you've realized that everything is conjecture, but that knowledge can still exist, then the reason for making a distinction between different kinds of existence goes away.
