Is There a Middle Position in Affirmative Action?
I am strongly against having any form of anti-discrimination norm applied to universities. One more Supreme Court follow up and that would be a fern of action. The problem is much more endemic in terms of its difficulty than one might suppose. I don't think there's an easy way in which to do this. But if you look at American universities, putting aside Richard Epstein, turning 80s soon, virtually every major university has a huge emotional and political investment in some form of equity and inclusion.
