Are You Afraid of Rejection?
The brain is designed to be afraid of rejection. And so it will return to that memory and say, do whatever you need to do to make sure that never happens again. That's what ends up hurting us when we hurt each other. Who's the person making us do this? Ourselves, or fear? Our fear. The hours, days and years you spend feeling that you're checking every door because you got that vigilance, that's just as bad for the body. I cannot be me and have basic human connection, i will lose i have to lose myself or you. It's diabolical. Let's say you get to have connection and you get to be you.
