I've become a bit of a pensions geek by accident in 1998 I took an advanced pension exam called G60. Under pension freedoms George Osborne announced that the members of the public can do a lot more with their pension than they used to be able to do so. So what that means is many people are required to take advice if they have a final salary or defined benefit with a transfer value of over 30,000.
