We don't want to have excessive amounts of of adiposity so I think striving for a healthy body weight is important but also coming back to what you were talking about earlier around psychopenia and muscle. What you eat is more important than the sort of quantity and from a broader public health point we already carrying visceral fat inside our belly particularly bad for your long-term health. So it would be far better off trying to help people who are already in the normal BMI range then putting them on this super restrictive diet.
