Why Do You Declare Variables at the Top of the Scope?

John: There are things you do as a program or out of habit, out of i mean, there's probably no reason to do it any more. But i always declared my variables at the top of every at thetop of any scope i was in and i ordered them by type. And so you would never see me declare a variable other than the top of the scope. Why is that not a good idea? Nowadays, s compilers do it for you. Well, they don't necessarily do it foryou, unless you're they don't rything we do is vilan.
