Otis Reading - The Rock Singer

Otis Reading went on his first tour outside the US in September 1966. He became one of the highlights of his live set, and a signature song for him. Janet's Joplin turned up at the film office all every day to make sure she could be right at the front for Reading shows that night. However, after the film all gigs for the first time ever he started missing shows. It was likely that this was the first sign of a problem that would change everything about his career. His vocal polyps were making singing painful.
