i think a lot of us come into these conversations unaware of our own implicit biases. We all have presuppositions, yes, that shape form the way we read the bible. i'm going to land in a certain place more often than other places because of where i came from,. and so is kyle and so is j t. Knowing you're lean can make a big difference in how you approach any theological discussion. But also understanding that it's ok for me to have more of an emphasis in one area, and j t to have sort of a balancing emphasis somewhere else.
