Time and Distances in a Clock

A clock is something that counts units of equally spaced units throughout what we perceive as the passage of time. One basic unit for us is the time it takes for the Earth to go around the Sun, which is a year. We can also look at time in terms of astronomical processes by looking at stars when light left them. The time, the distance, the whole map of the universe is interlinked.
