The Rejection of Heaven

The book is about a man's journey going from this quote unquote gray town, which is interesting in its own right to heaven. And on this journey, he and these other visitors as they get to heaven are greeted by residents who invite them to come further up and further into heaven. In every chapter, you'll see this one of these visitors chooses to go back to the gray town. They essentially reject heaven.
