The Five Hindrances in Anger

Intherapy is for dealing with what's between the person and a healthy, adaptive step. In buddhist psychology, there are five hindrances that hinder us or cover over our innate wisdom,. And so you can think, and among them is anger. Ill will is among the big 5 hindrances. So in that context, then sometimes what's helpful is to really work with people cognitively - because they have beliefs that they don't deserve to be angry. You help people gradually undo that inhibition through repeated experiences.
