The Difference Between Envy and Jealousy

I don't think I make in my mind much of a distinction between envy and jealousy. In fact, I always have thought that jealousy was wanting something that somebody else had. But what you're saying is the definition of jealousy is more like I have... Well, to be jealous, maybe, of a partner. Right? And now they're getting attention from somebody else. Mm-hmm. Or even my kids, getting attention from what you're not dad, another dad figuring their life. I might feel jealous of that. It's like an emotional... Almost how I see this is like a way to like scoop something back to myself. Like physically.
