The Obstacles of Rebuilding the Temple

Ezra 4:5-7 presents a complete picture of all the obstacles that we're facing as they tried to rebuild, not just the temple, but as we'll see in a second. We are introduced to four different kings in a row and then we're going to read a letter that is addressed to one of these kings and then his response. Verse seven then introduces us to still another king, art as Xerxes. And this happened over an extended period of time.
