If you can start with an image that comes from your need, then you can really get access to something. And if you don't hold on to that image too tightly, then it can thenyour experience of whatever that thing is filling the need, it can start to grow. That's what she's getting at. Which is good. Merton said, if your ideas of God are the same five years from now, you're not growing. Right.
