The Perception of the UX Industry

In a sense, you're not part of the UX design industry and in a big sense you really are as well because you're constantly being invited by the UX industry to speak. Why do you think that is, and if you put your critical glasses on, what is your perception of the UX industry? I mean, I came across the UX industry, what, 2013 and sort of have sort of been working with projects and with companies since then. And yes, I get feedback from people months down the line telling me that they actually understood what I was trying to get at. Because there is this sense that the process and the tool must be concretely connected to work process as it exists now
