Is There a Difference Between Visual Imagery and Empiricism?

Some people say they can very easily reproduce a melody in their head or visualize something, so they can put that tiger before the mind's eye and tell you what direction it's facing. Others say they can't do this at all. We know with visual imagery there are certain spatial sensitivities that can come out behavior. So somebody who claims not to be using visualary century imagery, they must be. There is no reason to doubt that this is possible if we define an image as a stored record of a sensory state.
