The Challenges of Token Design

Despite this vision of distributed ownership and user-owned networks, we actually have a landscape where in reality, ownership has become still quite concentrated. I think capital tends to be quite centralizing. And so despite the fact that these crypto tokens are theoretically able to be distributed very broadly and owned by anyone, you have over time this concentration of ownership. This is one of the areas where I feel like I have more questions than answers, but I do acknowledge that it's really a challenge.
