The Strike Fund and the Writers Guild
The assumption is that the studios will strike deals with the directors and or the actors in the next two months. If for some reason the studios don't reach a deal, then we're looking at a very messy kind of year. There will come a point at which these media companies may feel that they need to reach a deal because they need new programming. But I have not met anyone who thinks it'll be sorted out before August.
