The correct eye contact manifests out of being confident and you want to mimic the same amount of eye contact that you have with somebody you're completely comfortable with. If you still have issues with eye contact, you definitely want to work on your self-esteem. You can use eye contact to your advantage when walking past the stranger. And also taking away eye contact when she's talking about some shit that you don't like or playing what I call the aloof listener where sometimes you have really good eye contact and then sometimes you're like looking over her shoulder.
