Trump's Backing Was Not Enough

Sideline: Donald Trump papered over some of these divisions because he really took control of the party for that period that he was president. Now I think within Sideline, you're starting to see these old, old divisions bubble up. These are the same conservative fights that chased out Republican Speaker John Boehner and Republican Speaker Paul Ryan. It's the remnants of the tea party and it's now playing out in just full technique color for all of us to watch wide-eyed.
