How Did You Get Into Open Source?

Jonathan Neal: I was trying to get a job in California at the time and didn't get into any of the tech companies. He met a co-worker there who were working on open source, so he decided to contribute as well. Neal started with bootstrap for random side projects but ended up getting like top 50 contributors just by changing these random things.Neal: It's a big transition to go from contributing moments inside of a pre-existing project to being a core maintainer on a project.
